Works with the tools your shop already trusts
HeatLock connects to the specialist software heat treaters already run, so its data lands in the ERP instead of being typed in twice.

Pyrometry
C3 Data
C3 Data makes pyrometry compliance software for heat treaters and calibration labs. It helps shops meet Nadcap, AMS 2750 and CQI-9 by automating sensor management, standards tracking, scheduling and report generation. That covers TUS reports, comparison and alternate SAT, instrument calibration, thermocouple tracking and a plant-wide furnace compliance dashboard.
How HeatLock works with C3 Data
- Your furnaces' pyrometry status comes into HeatLock.Connect your C3 Data account in Settings, and HeatLock reads each furnace's calibration, SAT and TUS status, along with its sensors.
- C3 furnaces are linked to HeatLock equipment. HeatLock suggests matches by asset number or name, and you confirm each one. A new C3 furnace can be added as equipment in the same step.
- Completed C3 jobs become calibration records. Completed SAT, TUS and CAL jobs are recorded as third-party calibrations on the equipment, and C3's test intervals carry over.
- A furnace runs only when all four checks pass. HeatLock decides whether a furnace is compliant on four counts:
- Instrument calibration (CAL) is current and passing.
- The system accuracy test (SAT) is current and passing.
- The temperature uniformity survey (TUS) is current and covers the temperature.
- Every thermocouple in use is compliant, approved for use, and has not exceeded its allowable usage, by date or by number of uses.
- Quality hears about it when it matters. When a linked furnace's C3 status turns red, the Quality group is notified.
